George E. Murphy '43 Sea Term and Experiential Learning Scholarship

Created to honor LT CDR George Murphy ‘43, a member of the Greatest Generation, this scholarship will be awarded to two cadets. Recipient 1 must be a 1C, 2C or 3C, MENG major participating in Sea Term and must be the one who isn’t afraid to get his or her hands dirty and pitches in when there is an emergency. Recipient 2 must be a freshman MSEP major participating in experiential learning who may not be the strongest academically but the best all-round when the chips are down.
