John W. Borden IV Scholarship

Recipients of this scholarship must be 1C, 2C or 3C license-track major and a resident of MA. Candidates should evidence “personal qualities and involvement in activities/experiences that suggest a well-rounded individual whose personality characteristics preferably include genuineness, perseverance, some capacity for fun-loving and spontaneity, love and respect for the sea.” If all else equal, preference for recipient who comes from a family in which maritime or fishing experience has been part of the family’s livelihood.
